Winds damage homes, hail falls across North Texas
MESQUITE, Texas – Some early morning storms brought strong winds and hail to parts of North Texas on Saturday, and even damaged several homes in Mesquite.
There were several thunderstorm warnings that popped up, with high winds and hail being the main problems reported across the Metroplex.
No injuries have been reported as a result of Saturday morning’s storms.
There was quarter-sized hail for portions of Collin, Fannin, Hunt, and Grayson counties.
The full extent of the storm damage is not known at this time, but most of the damage was reported in Mesquite. Several homes had their roofs blown off and fences damaged.

FORECAST
Even though we had a stormy start to our Saturday, a warm and windy afternoon is expected across North Texas.
We’ll see lots of sunshine, with high temperatures in the upper 70s and low 80s.
Low rain chances return to the forecast Sunday evening, but Saturday should be sunny and dry.
